The Dump is pleased to provide delivery for our customers. Customers are not obligated to use the delivery services provided by The Dump and may secure delivery via another company (deliveries made by such other companies will be treated as a customer pickup). Refused deliveries (including, but not limited to, no-fits, customer not-at-home and on-the-road-cancellations) shall be subject to a restocking fee of the greater of $100 or 15% of the purchase price. Redelivery shall also be subject to an additional redelivery charge. No refunds are allowed for no-fits, customer-not-at-home and on-the-road-cancellations.

WILL IT FIT?: It is your responsibility to ensure that all items will fit in the designated areas of your home. If your home has narrow doorways, staircase turns or low ceilings, you should measure these locations to ensure proper fit. The furniture must fit in the normal pathways of your home as we cannot hoist furniture to an upper floor. We do not dismantle furniture as that voids the manufacturer’s warranty. It is important that your room is empty and the space is available to receive your new furnishings. Our drivers are not able to move or handle your other furnishings or electronics, nor can they affix anything to your walls. If your furniture is unable to be fitted in the desired location, you will receive an in-store credit for the cost of the furniture (delivery fees are not eligible for the in-store credit). Additionally, in the event you choose our home delivery service, a redelivery fee will also apply.
FLOOR SAMPLE SALES: The prices on our floor samples have been substantially reduced and are sold “as is.” Due to the special prices offer on floor samples, The Dump will not authorize a refund, exchange, or return on floor sample product. It is important that you inspect your floor sample items with your sales associate and that you agree on any existing defects or damages at the point of sale. Any pre-existing conditions involving Floor Merchandise will be noted on the Sales Order. Subsequent delivery damage must be reported to the delivery driver before our delivery truck leaves your premises, or, in the case of customer pickup, by contacting a Dump representative on the same day as pickup.
BEDDING: Pursuant to applicable federal and state laws, all bedding sales are final. However, in the event that the bedding has not been removed from its original, sealed packaging, bedding may be exchanged or returned at the time of pickup or delivery. Exchanges or returns are subject to a restocking fee of the greater of $100 or 15% of the purchase price. For any mattress sold with a manufacturer’s warranty, The Dump will assist you in submitting warranty claim(s) to the manufacturer. In the event the law tag is removed from the bedding, the manufacturer’s warranty is automatically voided.
BEDDING COMFORT GUARANTEE: Certain (but not all) bedding manufacturers offer a one-time comfort re-select option on their merchandise. If the bedding you purchase includes such an option, The Dump will provide you with a separate Comfort Guarantee Agreement. See your salesperson or the store’s business office for details and to determine whether such a guaranty is applicable to your purchase. In the event the law tag is removed from the bedding, both the manufacturer’s warranty and the comfort guaranty are automatically voided.
RUGS: Rugs under $500 may be exchange or returned subject to a $25 restocking fee within five (5) days from the date of customer pickup or delivery. Rugs over $499 may be exchanged or returned within five (5) days of pickup or delivery subject to a restocking fee of $50. In both cases, the restocking fee will be waived for one exchange for a rug of equal or greater price.
DELIVERIES: If you need to change your delivery date, you must do so by 5PM two (2) days prior to your delivery. Please call Customer Service at 800-768-0348 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to the expense that The Dump has incurred in preparing your furniture delivery, if you reschedule your delivery after this time or are not at home for your delivery, you will be charged additonal redelivery charge. The redelivery fee must be paid prior to rescheduling your delivery. No refunds are allowed for no-fits, customer-not-at-home, and on-the-road-cancellations. The Dump’s delivery service providers do not deliver in cartons; instead, customers needing this alternative must pick up their merchandise at the store or warehouse.
Our delivery hours are 8am – 9pm. We will contact you the afternoon before your scheduled delivery to provide you with a 3 hour estimated time frame.
We will make every attempt to complete your delivery within this time frame.
Due to delays on the road, there may be occasions when we are unable to meet this time frame. Should this happen, you will be notified of the delay and given a revised delivery window. For your convenience, we can contact you at work approximately 1 hour in advance to allow you to meet the drivers at your home. Requested time frames are available for an additional fee.
CORRECTION OF DELIVERY DAMAGES: Our Quality Assurance Program strives to ensure that your stock merchandise is in factory condition. Please inspect the merchandise with your driver and note any concerns on the Delivery Release Form. Our driver will immediately notify Customer Service of your concerns and a representative will assist you.
No returns or exchanges will be authorized on bedding (mattresses) once you have accepted it into your home.
Furniture used in rental homes or commercial settings is sold as-is and is not covered under manufacturer’s warranty.
