Extra long, Lanolin rich strand of Wool fibers were collected from sheep 11,000 feet up in the Himalayan Mountains to be hand carved and hand spun into Wool pile for these incredible hand knotted Tibetan rugs. The intricate Senneh loop knot that was used has been a time honored technique for hundreds of years, allowing for the many details throughout, and the Chrome dye used create such an incredible luster.
